Norwegian multi-disciplinary studio Snøhetta have created an innovative brand identity for their Oslo 2022 Winter Olympics bid. The logo uses the similar forms of the letters “o” and “s” and the numbers “0” and “2” to create an attention-grabbing outcome.
The Snøhetta team say: “The identity of Oslo 2022’s visual language honors the inherent simplicity and openness in Nordic culture. By balancing playful graphics and strict geometry, the identity represents both the celebration of the Games and the solid planning of the Norwegian bid.”
